Can ''vampires'' really be considered ''evil'' when you know they are just part of the cycle of life?

In the hypothetical sense of course but there is a biological justification for their murdering people because they need the blood to survive. Noone considers a crocodile or lion ''evil''. They just have a certain physiological design.
