Intelligence and religion/spirituality..are they mutually exclusive?

I don't believe it is possible for someone to be rational and also consider creationism scientific. However, it is possible to be spiritual and intelligent; it all depends. But saying in general that being religious means someone is stupid is truly ignorant.
