Question about the ten commandments?

Taking the Lords name in vain ussaly is using his name as a curse word. Or using his name when your not realing calling on him. Bearing false witness is lying. Thats the difference. Some people find it hard that a holy God will punish them. But like any loving Father he will punish those who go astray.
