Where does RNA transcription occur?

Technically, both A and C are correct. Most of the RNA transcription occurs in the nucleus. However, the mitochondria also contains DNA, which is transcribed in the mitochondria, rather than the nucleus; this is a small amount of the RNA synthesized within a cell, but it does occur.
