Acid Reflux, Heartburn, Chest Pain. Dr. Says Virus? One Month now.?

I started with bronchitis 5 weeks ago. 4-5 days on antibiotics, thought I burned my stomach from not really eating & taking pills on empty stomach. Ever since then, have mildly severe heartburn every day all day, stomach upset. No diarrhea. Throat swollen, at times feels like I am being choked. Bloodwork shows liver enzymes not right, Dr. says looks like a virus. I feel better inside now for a week, but still can't eat right and still throat swollen. protonix, prilosec otc, did nothing. zantac 300 made me severely nauseous. Pepto works best, but try not to take it at all. What is going on? Dr has no answer for me. I have no insurance so can't get endoscopy or other diagnostic tests.
