So guy called me boring but he always talks to me?

So I have liked this guy since October and on Thursday he called me boring! Which I don't get because during lunch/break or during ping time he will always look at me and talk to me and it's always him approaching me. He even IMs me on Gmail and facebook for crying out loud. At the time when this happened I was talking to one of my friends to so I think he was trying to get my attention. Then today he talks to me again like there is nothing wrong! I was so pissed! My crush is waning I hear he likes me but why is he acting so immature?
